  • Yikes :eek: It looks like this car would crumble if you touched it. I can't image what, if anything, would be salvageable.

    it looks that way to me too but the 55 Hudson has the same dash cluster that is in the 54 hudson and all the gauges are the same as is the steering wheel the engine is a packard 320 V8 these are all reuseable parts that can be taken off the car with out moving it

    Who says cars aren't biodegradable? This one appears to be composting nicely. The bumpers look surprisingly good, and the rear bumper is the continental kit setup, which might be of interest to somebody. I looked for bullet holes, and sure enuff, there they are...right below the right rear post. :D

    Oh c'mon guys paint it all up with POR 15 inside out and upside down...hit it with a few spray cans, get the weak spots with duct tape and rivet in some floor pans and drop in a small block V8 and you got yourself a car!!!!! LOL
  • Looks like a victim of an interior fire! Wonder if it was stolen loooooong ago and dumped in the woods. Imagination could run wild with this one!:rolleyes: I always wonder about the stories of the cars left out in the woods or fields with no apparent reason.

    Even the fuel can used to set the thing afire is still in the front seat area!

    THe pot metal, stainless and chrome are in surprisingly good shape... that Hornet V8 emblem should give some of the stepdown engine swappers ideas!

    Like Sam J posted... doing a good job of repleninishing the earths metals.

    Cheers ;>}
