Palos Verdes Concours D Elegance
I went to the PV show yesterday. No Hudsons, didn't expect any. I was at the Chrysler area and saw a perfectly restored 1955 Chrysler 300 coupe on display. The sign said 1955 Chrysler 300 NASCAR. The owner was touting the fact that this model won the Championship that year with Flock at the wheel. He also had a book on Flock's racing accomplishments. I was really tempted to discuss the virtues and racing record of the Hornet with Flock and others at the wheel but I'm sure the owner already knew it....
FYI- I pulled up to the show parking lot in my 51 Hornet Coupe and they waived me over to the exhibitors area (not that the car is near concourse).... I told them I was just there to see the show. He pointed me over in another direction and they gave me VIP parking. Life is good...

They moved it to the Rolling Hills Country Club a couple years ago. It's a nice venue.0

There will always be those who own Hudsons and those who wish they did.0
