I am thinking that this guy put the decimal point in the wrong place. 360 bucks I can see. For 360K I will buy 3 fully restored 32's.0

I don't think he will be collecting those bids looks like spoofers bidding or some seriously rich people with more money than sense....0

I'm thinking the bids in the $3,600 range are bona fide- pretty complete setup for someone who is restoring one, or even hotrodding, if they want the flathead engine. One thing about repro and aftermarket hotrod parts- they're available, but they ain't cheap. If you could live with the stock parts included, you'd be getting way more than you could in the aftermarket, for the price.0 -

I second that, Mike. Picking up an aftermarket roadster body in either metal or glass is no big deal. If a clear '32 title comes with this chassis, that alone is worth 2 grand in California. :cool:0 -
Look at the bidding history for this item and you can see the screw up. I wonder if ebay will make the winner make good on that amount???0

Sure they will! Let's see...at current mortgage rates, that's $3,200 a month for the next 30 years...:eek:0 -
Once in a hurry to bid-on ebay--I missed decimal points also and entered a bid that was 100x too high--for a magazine. I retracted the bid later--no problem, but listed the reason with ebay. I'll bet our Hudson tshirt seller wishes that this kind of mistake was made instead of the one reported in a recent post.

I think the winning price was very fair. You could part it out and make a huge profit. Lets see...
Bent frame - $175K
Vintage "ratrod" tires - $25K ea. or $110K for all 4
Engine , ran when parked (once) - $100K
After that, the rest of the parts are free!
