1949 hudson brougham 2 dr fender

does anybody have a driver side fender in good shape or even a contact?I can pick it up in arizona or southern california but would have to ship from any other state.thx

    If your closer to AZ, you might try Al Safrahn in Maricopa. If you want I can dig up his number.

    You can expand your search...All 48-49 front fenders are the same, regardless of body style. Not so for 50's because of the new Pacemaker.

    just to clarify superdave's post. 48-50 super and commodore are the same front fenders. the 50's compared to the 48-49 do use a different insert at the grille and have variations in the chrome mounting holes which can be filled and relocated. as dave said, watch out for 50 pacemaker as they are shorter.

  • That would be great if you could give me Al's # when stripping the paint from my car I found that the last owner was the king of bondo .The fender was the only part I couldn't save.thx

  • The correct number for Al Saffrahn is 520 568 2911. Give the phone a chance to ring a bit. Al's usually outside and away from the phone. Good luck
  • Sorry if I screwed anybody up with Al's number, though I think I've called them both and talked with him. Gotta go home and double check my chicken scratch note with his number.
