Just about finished!

Bumpers are on (though not rechromed yet!), plus the lights, front tag, and dash panels. Just needs the hood spears, running boards, fender brackets, wipers, and a couple of other things on it. It goes for its first legal drive down a public street this week...finally!

Looks like the end is in sight - nice job!
I take it by the quote the vehicles been on some "illegal"drives down the street so far?

One or two! Didn't have the headlights in, the seat bolted down, or wipers or bumpers! Only drove it about two miles total.
Tomorrow, I'll drive it to the gas station and then the car wash.0 -
Don't get so excited you forget to tighten the lug bolts like I did. I lost the hind wheel on my maiden voyage with the truck. The fender wasn't any too good to start with but now I can plainly see where the wrinkles are. lol0

I love them 37 Terraplanes! Great color, hope you have more pictures to post. What color are the wheels? Mine were orig. that color as maybe all were? looks great i would like to see it up close.

The wheels are military khaki tan. They were originally the color of the car, which I did not care for. The khaki, along with the wide whites (series 71 had blackwalls as original w/www as an option) help break up the car a little, since there is almost no stainless or chrome on the car (just the hood side spears, grille, bumpers, and hood center). I plan to run the same khaki as a single pinstripe atop the trim line, front to back. I've got a set of 16" factory wheel trim rings, too, but I may leave them off. The paint on the wheels is just too nice!
UJ, I checked those out last week! Plus, nothing is leaking, the fluids are all good, I've got a fresh battery, so now all that's needed is a few minutes, my cellphone, and the keys!0
