Rubber Welt

There is a rubber spacer between the outer fender and the perimeter frame above the fender skirts on the stepdowns. Does anyone know the proper width and thickness for this piece? Mine appears to have been spliced together several times in the past, and have gaps in them- or are they deliberate for drainage. K-Gap advertises fender skirt rubber but apparently not this piece? Thanks! Walt-LA

    Walt , when I needed that material I just went to a local rubber supply company and ordered some closed cell sponge cut to the proper width. It worked great and was a lot cheaper that getting it elsewhere. I also used it on the bottoms of the lower inside of the doors.
