Greetings from Colorado!



Does anyone have a lead on a windshield for a 1957 Hornet?



I am researching availability/price as I consider a purchase.



Also, what is the parts availabilty situation? Any pointers/thoughts/suggestions/considerations? Any and all help will be greatly appreciated!

    Try Mac McElroy of Crestwood, KY 502-241-4505. He might have one or I think I saw one in a junkyard in Corydon, IN called Twin ceaders, (Tons of 50's cars) 812-738-3398

    Check out Rambler Classic & ambassadors 58 to 62. Seems like they're the same basic body shell. Good luck!

    If you want new glass - try Iowa Glass (PPG Auto Glass) at 1-800-747-5401, Ext 5239. Ask for Rick. They're in Cedar Rapids and I got new windshields for my 1950 Super 6 from them.

    It's a start. At least I know that the glass is available. I checked the KGAP catalog and see that they offer the new rubber seals. I am going to see if I can look at the car this weekend to see exactly what they have. I don't know if the winshield is just broken or out completely. If it is out, there is no telling what condition the car is in...
