Packard Engines in Hudsons

I believe it was the 1955 Hornet V8 model, and the 1956 Hornet Custom 8 model.0

1955 Hornet V-8's used the Packard 320 cid engine, 1956 Hornet Custom V-8's used the Packard 352 cid engine. Both also used the Packard Ultra-matic automatic transmission.

I have another question for any of those familiar with Hudsons that had Packard engines. Did they use a dual action fuel pump (fuel & vacuum) and if so does anyone no the make and model of such fuel pumps or where I might buy one. I want to use one of these on my 56 Packard 400.

According to my research, Larry, 1955 and 1956 Packard engines, as used in the Hornet "80" series, used either a Carter M2256S or AC 4293 dual fuel/vacuum pump.
This data is posted on my Geneeral Specification web site:

- look under Manufacturers Numbers - 1950-1957.
