Wiper blade size
It has always amazed me why the car manufacturers of the 40's & 50's put those huge windshields in their cars and installed wipers that only measured around 10". The Kaiser is a lot worse than the Hudson. Is there a replacement wiper out there that actually has enough wing span to do what the wiper is supposed to do?

You should be able to buy a brand new wiper blade in any size you like; just make sure it doesn't hit anything on the windshield! Ficken's (on Long Island, NY) carries brand new Trico blades; they had them for my 1937 (with its obsolete mounting style) and they were only about $6 each, as I recall.0

Jason, The wiper blades that Hudson used on the stepdowns as an OEM part were Trico RB 10 's . The 54 Hudson with the big one piece windshield used the RB 11. {Thats Rubber Blade 11"} Don't know what Anco used as an aftermarket blade to fit stepdowns. The Trico rubber blade can be replaced by a modern replacement membrane available in most auto parts stores. If the blade has the little rubber dots running along the edge it's an origional. Trico hasen't made those in years. If your car is in a show that's what judges look for.0
