I Have A Homemade Welded Rear Bumper That My Great Grandpa Made When The Truck Was On Duty As A Tow Truck And I Am Trying To Find Out What Was Originally On The Back If Any One Has A Picture Of The Rear Bumper Or Roll Pan So I Can Start The Proccess. Thanks Rodney

Did your great grandpa own the truck originally? Has the truck been part of the family for a long time?

If so, how about telling us the story of the truck?

Hudson pickups did not have rear bumper when delivered from factory. You can see pictures of back of my 46 at http://groups.msn.com/HudsonEssexTerraplaneBulletinBoard/1946hudmobilepickup.msnw?Page=1

A rear bumper from a same-year car could be adapted quite easily, but your old one would probably look hairier.

I was looking for a bumper also, knowing that it did not come with one originally. I saw a picture of a '50 Chexy pick-up bumper that I thought might work, but I need to see one in person and measure it
