Here is what I can tell you about car. I have no idea what kind of reserve it has, but it is car that was sold at HET Orlando national. The asking price was 65,000. (Very good, not quite all original restoration.) It was bought by Ed Brown of Apollo, PA for unknown price. Car was then sent to Doug Wildrick for rebuilt 308 engine, and power steering and then to Davis Restorations for top work. The owner is man who bought former Chuck Rogers 1934 Hudson 8 convertible at 2004 Fall Hershey along with a 1934 Chrysler convertible. :)

The eBay auction notes say " Engine: 8 - Cyl. " & "1949 Hudson 308 Twin H Motor" ??? Am I again showing my ignorance?

It's still a great looking car!! I don't know of any convertable stepdowns in NZ

I hope someone welded up the huge hole in the left frame section in front of the rear wheel. I put my whole hand through it at Orlando! The interior door panels were incorrect at that time, Had the 51 pattern sewn in. Not that I was nit picking.. LOL.

Hey Dave, you would be pretty proud to have a car with panels that long and straight , I wonder if the used just a bit of flairing compound?
