Well - I was one of the few who didn't go see Cars at the theatre (I know... blasphemy!) but I will be buying the DVD asap... So in light of that fact (and I still can't work on my Hudson) and I was so bored tonight...
I thought I'd come up with a bit of code to tell me how much time is left until the DVD release!
It's on the my website right at the top! Take a look anytime you want to help calm your nerves waiting until Nov 7th...its kind of soothing seeing the clock tick down....:D

Tonight, there was a segment on Car Crazy about a car show at Pixar, complete with fleeting comments about Hudsons and a few quick shots of Hudsons in attendance.0

They have releast it down under and if you buy it from 1 of the shops they will put you in the draw to win a 73 corvette
Whats the chance!
I suppose there only 4 million down here so odds are still slim0 -
Dave I saw that car crazy as well with Barry I am the worst interviewer on TV McGuirer. Couple of nice shots of some Hudsons in the Pixar lot. Nice to see.0

You're right, Barry is annoying. He's very animated and that plastic grin is too much. I cringe evertime he says "Payshun." It's passion Barry, passion. That Dennis guy on MCC is a bit goofy too.0 -
There is still quite a bit of Cars toys and stuff in the stores. I was at the Wal Mart in Bullhead City AZ where I keep my boat and they had a bucnch of stuff there but not one Doc Hudson. Even had the Impala and VW bus but no Doc, so what gives there?0

Do you really keep your boat at a Wal Mart?IMHO, all the Cars Hudson stuff has been sucked up by cheap opportunists trying to make a killing by selling it on ebay.

LOL
I think the shortage of Doc Hudson memoribilia is intentional as the marketing people probably figured the old car toys wouldn't sell as well to children as the newer car toys...now if they had marketed the movie to old fart Hudson owners the Doc Hudson toys would have been more plentiful!0 -
Watching it tonight on DVD!!! Of course, it helps that my son works at Hollywood Video and gets first shot before release...0

Mattel Corp posted some great 4 th qtr profits. Merchandising for the movie "Cars" was listed as one of the factors.
I've said it before, there will be a sequel to the movie, guaranteed.0 -

The Wal Mart there is a big place and has lots of room for boat parking:p Actually it is just down the road from my place and it is one of those Super Wal Marts so it has just about anything you need supermarket and all. I was just heading for the registers after loading up in automotive and at the end of the toy section row some Cars stuff caught my eye and I went digging for Doc's. Thought I might get lucky since I don't think there is even one Hudson that resides in Bullhead.0 -

I have been going to the Laughlin River Run for the past 6 years and have an old friend that retired on the river in Bullhead. Not sure about the river run this April the traffic etc. has gotten a little to much. I bet the people that live there hate all them damn noise Harleys in April ? If I end up there maybe we can have a beer. There was a guy at the western regional that trailerd his Hudson from Havasu City. I want to retire on the Colorado River. Take care, Ron
