Link Spring Source

I am in need of the the link spring that goes from the carb to the throttle pivot on the head of my 232. It just broke.



Is there a Swap Part number for another spring that may be available at my local AutoZone or Advance Auto?



I'm getting one part to work and another "breaks." But what fun this is!!!!

    The parts stores have a variety of springs as well as the hardware stores. Take your old one and match it up.

    Thank you. That is where I am heading today. I am still hoping to get a Hudson spring from a Hudson parts person.

    Did not get there today - sick kids at home from school.



    I was reading/researching the Parts Manual today. My throttle linkage looks NOTHING like those show in the book. This is especially true of the part that is mounted to the fire wall. It does not match any part. Several of the rods and rod placements look right but that is it.



    Worries me about finding the right spring.
