Veterans Day is upon us and we should all pause for a moment and THANK all our servicemen and women that have served in the past and are currently serving our great country.

Whether you agree or disagree with what is going on we still have to support out Military.

My son-in-law is a medic (e6) assigned to the 82nd Airborne, Fort Bragg. He has served two tours in Iraq within the past two years and may be headed there again in a few months. He also serve a year in Bosnia.

I was in the Air Force 1959 to 1963.

THANK YOU SERVICEMEN AND WOMEN I SALUTE YOU !!

  • I'm sure that the clear thinking citizens of a greatful nation will join me in thanking everyone who has served. God bless America and all those who have given of themselves to serve her. :)
  • My Grandfather was a Chief Petty Officer in the US Naval Reserves during WWII. He served aboard the USS Quincy and spent much of his time at Okinawa... I only wish I could be half the character he is. He is now 92 and doing quite well.

Thanks to all who serve(d). I appreciate it.

God bless him, you are lucky to have him around. Just don't forget to be patient and take from him all of the knowledge and experience 92 years has given him. Again, be patient, you'll be half the character when you're 46 years old.
  • Hey, hudsondad was in the air force, stationed in Okinawa during Vietnam. He had a rough time, but I think served his country with honor, made the best of a rough situation.

Thank you hudsondad for your contribution.

Way i keep reminding my self of the men and women who served us iam a World War 2 collector sometimes it gets in the way of buying things for the hudson to get her back on the road.
  • Thanks to all active duty, seperated and retired military veterans. I would like to share the comments of a world leader concerning service....

Tony Blair the PM of England was quoted in the news the week before our congressional elections.

A question was asked of him...

What will you do with British troops in IRAQ when the Bush administration becomes Lame Duck after the congressional elections?

Mr. Blair's response... and I paraphrase... in history there are only two people who were willing to give thier lives for freedom of the oppressed... they are: Jesus Christ and the American soldier, I intend to continue to assist the American soldiers!

    That about says it all...

Thanks again to all who serve and have served.
