A Movie Star
A nice little story.... I almost always drive one of my Hudsons on the weekends, even to my kids soccer games. I ALWAYS have people asking me what year, did I restore it, etc. Yesterday was no different. I came off the soccer fields after my 9 year olds game and atleast 10 different kids had circled my Blue 51 Hornet Coupe (with the plates "DOC HDSN"). Another small group of kids came off the field pointing and yelling "it's a Hudson Hornet!". A number of parents made it a point to walk over to look, ask questions and take pics w their kids.
Makes you feel good when 7,8 and 9 year olds and 70,80 an 90 year olds appreciate the Marque. Niels

I got a little bit of that too when I showed my Special at the Belmont Shores car show in September even though a 54 2 dr sedan looks quite a bit different than a 51 coupe. Not much attention from the 20's to 40's age bracket like I am in but up to about 12 and 13 and from 50 up it got a lot of attention. Kind of a kick when a little kid comes running up and screams LOOK a Hudson Hornet!0
