I just returned home from attending one day of two day H.E.T. Meet and as always it's great to see these fine looking Hudson's lined up with owners smiling with pride of American History and ownership...I saw Vic D., Danny S., Press & Janet (K-Gap) Bill A. with his two outstanding convertibles, Walt M. with his daughter's sedan; Walt's car is a coupe but colors are the same. I arrived early before many of the Hudson's showed up, so I took a walk to Golden Nugget Hotel and I was in for additional treat, they had old classic car show also, I took some pictures and hopefully will be able to share them with you all unfortunately I can only attach five, hope you enjoy?

To my fine Southern Gentleman friend Rudy...

Believe me, your/our Black Beauty (BB) would have held its own at this show (you and your son did a fine job on engine and overall car restoration) or any show. From what I learned in past few years, I wish I kept "BB" and installed rack n pinion steering for easier steering and my shoulder problem; how is your neck problem? Yes the show was good; really enjoyed talking with others and seeing pride of Hudson members ownership. I was early and lucky while waiting for Hudson's to roll up to River Palm's Hotel, I took a walk and spotted another classic show at Golden Nugget Hotel which I attended that is where I spotted Merc Wanta-Be-Hudson. I trying to have '52 Hornet coupe ready (hope so) to attend Arizona meet. I have all the chrome and stainless at the shop and owner said he'll finished platting and polishing within next ten days. Brought 6 pieces of flat glass to use as pattern and cut to same shop who did my last two Hornet glass requirements, going to use Solex Safety Grey Tint, as soon as chrome shop finishes I can bring vent window chrome to glass shop and pick up everything together. Mine are okay but I think I'll change while they are removed; Rudy how do you like the new front windshield pieces of glass you installed, do they fit correctly in new rubber gasket's, no leaks etc.? Planning on all logistic's to order this week, engine, trans. rear end etc. Say hello to Rick and the rest of the Hudson guys in your El Paso, TX shop; did they ever finish 7x engine?

Getting little chilly in Vegas...Have a great Sunday,

    Hi Bill,

Thanks for email updated information, as I expressed at show, you have the finest collection of Hudson's around and I know you are proud of achievements. Both convertibles are gem quality and gas mileage is great, I know any Hudson member or non member would love to own one of those cars.

    Take Care & Stay Helthy,
