GM is using the name COMMODORE?

I have not been on the internet for some time and while I was in the doctors office, I picked up a Motor Trend Mag. (for Oct) It mention that Pontiac was importing a new Holden Commodore. (Like the new GTO) from two years ago. What gives? I thought that Chrysler had ownership on all the names of Hudson products? Just thought I'd ask.

Keep thinking the good thoughts..

Hudson of course!

  • only since 1978! they are an everymans car here. and they ran 308s! but they were v8 along with 253, and a 202 straight 6, yeah holden borrowed a lot of old hudson identities
  • Commodore was used by several car makers over the years, not just Hudson.
