You're right, the photos are kind of lame. Does the firewall appear to be red? Seems like a lot of $ for a car which, at the very least, needs a good engine compartment detailing and some rust repair. And what's with the interior? Doesn't even look close to original to me.

Just what is a Commodore 8 6 cylinder? How come no shot showing the grille and front of the car?

From what I heard, it was common for folks to put in 262 an 308's int the 8 cylinder cars.

    Also, notice the pitted chrome?

really puts it into perspective when Bob Kirchner's only went for what it did and was a WAY better car.

The vin number does make it an eight (484) The engine IS a six, The radiator has been changed to a later one, The odometer reading obviously has no relation to the car. Other than it's a low mileage speedometer. Interior is wrong and poor quality, chrome needs to be done, The top and rear window needs to be replaced. He mentions a hydraulic problem. let me tell you THAT can be a project in it's self if the lines are rusted out in the rockers. In my opinion without knowing how much rust is there.. It's way over priced. Hope it finds a loving home.
