a less scary ride

I finally got the donor frame rail installed under my car, and was able to drive it this past Friday. God it felt good. The ride is good and smooth (for being lowered) and much more important, stable!



VicTor, thanks so much for the donor! Ken, and everyone else, thanks for your advice.



I am going to try and post a couple of before and after pictures.

    That was a quick frame repair. either you got a hefty skill set, or REALLY like driving that hudson! (Or some of both)

    My skill (or luck) is in having good friends with a whole lot more talent than me!



    The really amazing part is that the other side (passenger side) is in good condition, and it doesn't appear to have ever been repaired.



    I didn't realize how much I enjoyed driving it until it was down (for the repair) this time. The eight weeks seemed like an eternity. I can only imagine what you guys in the "cold" country go through during the winter.

    I am going to take a few this afternoon. I took some after I put the door handles on it, but that was before I lowered the backend 2 inches.

    Good Morning '52 KaHuna (AKA Terry), your Welcome. Glad to see you getting it back on the road again. Will you be going to the CIC Christmas Parrty this Sunday? I have to work in the morning, but hope to get there in the afternoon.
