I Finally Drove a Hudson Hornet Today!

I bought myself an early xmas present a couple of weeks ago of an X360 and got the Cars game earlier tonight.
I had to build up some points to unlock Doc, and so not being able to sleep tonight I just got done racing 12 laps in a Piston Cup Race as Doc Hudson decked out in the Fabulous paint job...of course I won the race with a top speed of 185mph in the 2 mile oval! (he did what in his cup?
)
The graphics and sound are great - fun game to play with the kids (or the adult kids!)
If you've got the X360 it would be worth it to have the game!
Of course for some of you this might give you the excuse you've needed to buy the X360?
Sorry to mislead you all - thought the Title would be a good hook!:rolleyes:

I got the PS2 version and outran all kinds of modern NASCARS with Doc. It's 2006 and Hornets are still winning. LOL Hey I can't fault ya for getting a videogame system. It may not be what others term "productive" but it helps get out a lot of pent up agression. LOL0

You did 185???? Wow, must have had one of those Magnificent 9x engines from Uncommon Engineering! Way to go!

If it were the version of the game with the 9X, it must have been around $25K0 -
Although I'm not a gamer, it would be cool to do 185 mph in any car, muchless a Hudson.0

I think there was someone in the HET club that was trying to get some Hudson speed records on the salt flats but I don't recall who.
I got the game at the local Hollywood video store videogame section. Think it was like $25 (not $25K) That'll let you drive in ways you can't get away with for real in your Hudson. LOL The characters make funny comments during the races like "I'll jack you up and kick you in the axle!"0 -
i don't need no stinking games i got the real thing LOL0

Thanks Aaron. Now go kick some axle!0
