I need a voltage regulator--source/Info??

Thanks in advance for any helpful information.



My 54 Hornet needs a voltage regulator. I need some help finding one--some cross-listed "generic" maybe? The car is currently running (a Tom Swifty?) six-volt and negative ground.



Where can I find one that will work for my car? Any wiring caveats/suggestions with the stock-reversed polarity?

    There's one on ebay right now. 150065640440 In fact they come up quite often. Keep an eye out, or do a search on baymotors for voltage regulators. Most of the 3-coil 6 volt regulators will do the job, but the 45 amp ones are more suited.

    No listing for the three brush generators 1949 and earlier (GEC).

    I think I have two original regulators around here somewhere if anyone has to have an original.
