53 Super Rocker Panel Paint Color

my 53 wasp rocker panel was painted silver or gray oringinally i

am wondering if any one nows of proper color code or a paint number that may have been used. was it matellic? any help would be appreciated. hope to get some pictures of this restoration up soon maybe santa will bring a digatal camera and instructions on using it

    Steve - the rocker panel color was called Velchrome Lacquer which was a flat aluminum color lacquer (no shine to it). I don't have any further info except Hudson part numbers of the product in various sized containers.

    Ford 'Argent' is a good substitute
