Does anyone have a part number for the inner front seals that they have bought RECENTLY ? I did a search of the forum, All the numbers I have found are either dead wrong or not available. My disc conversion is almost done, sure would like some new seals to cap it off.

It would seem to me that the grease seal you need would have to fit both the original spindle for inside dia. and the new brake rotor you are installing for your disc brake conversion

    Thanks Dave,

Those are the same numbers I used at the local NAPA store. They said they were not available any longer.Sooo. I just tried the NAPA web site and they came up!. Also the NOS15960 is the same number with the NOS prefix. hmmm. Another local large supplier (Central Auto Parts) that has been very helpful over the years crossed them to another off shore mfg...Parts Master..PM471831. I got two of them and they were both different from each other One too large OD and one too small OD. Obviously one was miss boxed. But both the wrong OD anyway . I have to go back to NAPA this morning to pick up a brake line adapter and I will ask him to check again. I sure miss my old store (United Auto Parts) where he pushed the catalog across the counter and let me do the research. One small mistake on a keyboard can make a world of difference. The NAPA store here is just a shell of what used to be. Hardly any stock, a computer terminal, also sell money orders..almost a NON store.. The counter man said his brother has a 48 Hudson up in NY state.. gee at least he knew what a Hudson was..LOL Wonder why it's such a wimpy store?... with Mikey Waltrip pushing them so much! LOL When I tried to find out where the store moved to I found the National web site showed a map to the old locaton and the actual new street address was misspelled so MapQuest wasn't any help.. Sheesh. I found them in spite of the bad web site info.

    Thanks again, Davew

    Jerry,

The spindles are stock and the hub is a copy of the original hub, except it has studs instead of threaded holes.I installed new bearings and races, same as Hudson. The rotor slides over the studs. The hub is "a piece of work". Really nice machining I bought them from HET'r Rick Pridemore. . The rotors are off a Mitsubishi and the calipers are early-mid Chevrolet Metric car. It all comes together with his caliper brackets. Nice parts at a fair price considering all the research and machine work that had to be done.

    Thanks, Davew
