Lock washer application guide
I picked this up on the Studebaker Drivers Club forum and thought it worthwhile to pass along. The site linked below has an application guide so you can know why a certain type of lock washer, external tooth, internal tooth, split, etc. etc. is used. As I am working on my '50 I am trying to replace the lock washers with the same type as the factory and often wondered why so many toothed washers were used under the hood.
