this is what i find for any rusty fitting regardless of where it is. crc it, shock it,(hitthe head of it with a hammer and punch) try turning it shock it some more until the job is done. if things go really bad on bigger bolts that will hold an "ezy out" (stud extractor) i will cut the head off then drill and ezy out the bolt, using heat if i can get it where i really want it to shrink the bolt with some cold water. with the door hinges hiding the part you want to heat you will be pretty much stuck to shock and lubrication. the door hinges rust so badly because the door seals leaked.0

Use a 5/16 or 3/8 drill. You can tell when you drill through the head of screw. Drill the 8 screws holding the hinges to the body post. The door will come off then the rest of the screw will turn out with good vice grips.0

I have removed a lot of rusted hinge screws without drilling. Here's what I've learned;
- Use pentrating oil and let it soak (PB blaster, kroil, etc)
- Make sure that you start with the proper size BIT , Any slippage will strip the screw head in a hurry
- I usually start with the hammer type impact to break it loose, most auto parts stores sell or rent them for a reasonable price
- I always use the type of phillips bit that fits on a 3/8" ratchet, this allows me to put lots of force into the screw head and get plenty of torque to break it loose - Usually if the screws aren't too rusted, I can skip the impact altogather
