I think that at this stage I'd install it in my living room. Once installed in a car, it will, sadly, never look so pretty again.
  • The color looks very close (silver gray) what did you use?

The oil pump and oil filler tube should be engine color as well.

Be sure to heat cycle the engine and re-torque the cylinder head as many times it takes to reach and hold the correct torque value.

What all did you do to overhaul the engine?

    Nice job!
  • I am sure you have already done it but I would adjust the valves hot while I had such easy access. Nice looking engine. I too second the motion to install it in your living room as art.
  • Engines this nice looking after they're rebuilt, I would display in the Family Room for several Months. Everyone in the neighborhood, friends and family get to admire and show appreciation for a job well done. Finally, I get lots of help from Hudsonmom when the time comes to install in the car.
  • Plus you can run it to heat the room, an added bonus.

I'm going to agree with the above quote. I really like your 'run in' stand. Very neat.

Love the speedo arrangement - pretty cool situation to keep up with your run time.
