first of many questions.....
and until i can get a number of chances to really inspect step-down coupe
there will be many many many many more!
i've trolled through many hundreds of pages of posts, here on the board, and
here are a few questions i've come up with;
1: what sizes did our rims come in? (15 x 6, 3-1/2back space, like that)
2: what is the hub pattern? (5 by 4-1/4,4-1/2,4-3/4?)
3: where is the master cylinder mounted? (firewall, under the vehicle?)
4: who has a 700R4 on their 308? (i'd like to talk to them about feel and performance)
5: what is the hub to hub width of the rear axles in the 48-54 coupes? (are there different widths?)
ok, theres my start. i appriciate any time and info you can spare!

Welcome to the board!
I'll field the easy question - the master cylinder is mounted under the drivers side floor. I'm sure others will be by soon with the good answers to the other questions.0 -
50 3/8" inside backing plate to inside backing plate, and 56 3/4" wheel mounting surface to wheel mounting surface (give or take a small amount).0

I believe Lloyd Miller has done this too (trans). I don't have his number as my club roster isn't with me, but he is in the CIC (California Inland Chapter). If your in the HET club you can look him up in the roster. If you aren't in the club JOIN! Good Luck!0
