Are we ever a gabby bunch !!
Its really interesting to compare the number of posts on some of the categories in classicCar.com.
For instance the GM site has logged -- 1554 posts
Ford --- 760
Chrysler --- 373
Hudson --- Thirty-Six Thousand, Three Hundred and Nine !!!! Yep 36,309 !!
Maaan --- are we ever a gabby bunch !! No wonder the Hudson club is the best in the WORLD !! And probably 80-90% of all those posts relate in some way or other to one Hudson enthusiast trying to help another, or many, many others!
When I am asked if I belong to the HET club, I proudly answer yes, and often cite these amazing numbers as proof of why Hudson Guys and Gals are the friendliest, most helpfull car nuts anywhere, bar none !!
Way to go everyone !! We're sure showing the old car hobby what its really all about !! Makes me proud to be a teeny part of it all.

I couldn't agree more..and it's only the tip of the iceburg.. If we only could talley All the emails and phone calls between members that don't show up anywhere to be counted. Trading of parts, helping each other find parts and information. I counted at least 20 emails and phone calls that I have been part of in the last month alone. Belonging to a group as dedicated as this one is truly a great experience. If you don't belong to a Chapter or at least the HET Club, you haven't scratched the surface.

GAB GAB GAB blah blah blah OOOH look there's another post! LOL Really though amazes me how some members almost compete to be helpful. I've heard the atmosphere is a lot different in some other car clubs where they even guard information.0

??!!?? Why in God's name would anyone want to guard information?? Have they forgotten the purpose of their club for the sake of that God-almighty trophy??0 -
The biggest difference I have noticed compared to other forums is that this is a relatively small group with a lot of activity. Everyone here seems more than willing to help and offer any information or experiences that they have.
Lets keep it going!0 -

I hadn't thought about all those emails that could be added to the total Dave, and of course you're right on here.
I've clocked quite a few myself in the last month or so, specifically Hudson related, and happy to do so.
How lucky we are, to be able to be part of it all !!

I think its a pretty fun group all told!0

In the recent Hemmings Classic Car they did an article on Rick Crawley and his stable of cars - Corvairs, Studebakers, and of course Hudsons.
He said he collects Hudsons because the people in the Hudson Club are such great people.
That says a lot, doesn't it?0 -

Yes, they have. That's exactly why when this club was founded, it was done so with a LACK of competition. Hence, everyone is much more helpful, friendly, old-fashioned neighborly!
I've even heard tell of some folks going to the trouble to find rare cars exactly like the one they have restored and purposely crushing them to make theirs even rarer. Can you believe that?0
