1946-7 pickup?
A fellow I know is looking for a really nice '46-7 Hudson truck. He's currently looking at one where the asking price is in the $30,000 range. Maybe that's the going price nowadays for trucks (I'm a notoriously bad judge of values!), but if anyone knows of something for sale in excellent condition for less money, could they post it here? (Not looking for fixer-uppers; this fellow is older and just wants something he can drive and which looks nice!)

Bill A had his blue one for sale last time I was in there, and was finishing up another also. He got the gas tank from my truck.

Hudson as you probably know made only about 2500 & 3500 46-47 pickups. But they are not THAT rare as far as Hudsons go a good many of them are surviving and I couldn't see paying as much as 30000 for one unles it was flawless. It's as if most owners decided to keep em instead of send em to the crusher. They're still very practical pickups with an almost perfect 4X8 bed and little wheel well interfereance. I'd say tell the guy to keep looking, join the club, and be a little patient. Oh and don't forget to mention that if he is a tall guy he might not like having one at all as much as he thinks he would heheh. Take care Jon.0
