I am heading out to Viva Las Vegas car show over the Easter weekend and would like to see some Hudsons. I would have driven mine but it (and I) has relocated to the other coast. I know there are a few of you guys in Vegas and I was wondering if anybody was going.

Now I'm disappointed that I won't get to have mine there, but 2500 miles one way is a little too much, even for a five day weekend. I'll be looking out for you all.

Any of you guys know much about the Champ Car race that weekend? I know its being run downtown on the streets, and you gotta buy tix to watch from the grandstands, but what about the rest of the course? Would be kinda cool to visit Fremont Street Expir during the race.

I'd bet it'd be different if you taught him to drive and got him his own car. Then it would be discrimination due to race or species or something.

Dan has already taught him to drive, but he cann't get him his own car because he cann't let him off the leash for safety and legal reasons. It is OK to have your dog drive if he is on a leash.

Just bringing this back up to the top to remind any and all who are interested.

The show is next weekend, April 6&7, at the Gold Coast Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.

I'll post pics when I get back to town on the 10th. Can't wait to see some LV hudsons!
  • I don't think I'll be able to make it with the Jet after all. I sent my distributor to Russ Mass last week for a Pertronix install. I'm hoping the electronic ignition makes the 5.5 hour trip to Mesa even more enjoyable than the trek to last year's Western Regional.

Never heard of a 10% 'Entertainment tax' in Nevada ! Must be just Las Vegas!
  • It is a state wide law called live entertainment tax. It was voted in by the 2005 legislature. I was living in Vegas at the time and as i remember there was quite a consaverse about what it afected.
