I am redoing the door panels on my '49 super sedan and am using fiber board as a base for the material, but the old retainer clips have seen better days. I bought some from e-bay but they are to big tho similar in shape. Any one out there in Hudson Land give me a souce for the proper retainers would be highly appreciated. I heard that newer Ford or G.M. clips will work even though they are plastic. Gas is already over three dollars per gallon and I hope to drive this car before the cost of fuel prevents me from starting it. That is a shame, as I remember when i could fill the tank for around five or six dollars. Thanks for letting me ramble and any help or advice.
