Barry, with any luck someone will be able to give you a NAPA part number or something, but in the meantime let me say that Ficken (on Long Island, NY) can supply new wiper blades for Hudsons going waaaay back. http://www.wiperman.com/ . Blades for my '37 Terraplane were about $6 each, as I recall. Ficken also offers a quick turn-around time rebuilding the old Trico vacuum operated motors.

If you have the stainless inserts, remove the old blades and the rubber from inside the insert. go to the auto parts store buy the cut to fit wiper blades, cut the blade. carefully remove the rubber blade fron the plastic insert. slide the new rubber into the old insert and you have a NOS wipers. takes a little bit of effort but you get a much better product and it looks stock. I noticed that while they have changes the inserts from metal to plastic and the with of the insert the rubber blade is the same. must use the same dies.

  • Barry if you can use your old stainless steel blades, try using this current number for blade membrane replacement: Trico 41-150. OEM Trico numbers for Hudson were Trico RB 10 for 48-53 and in 1954, RB 11. Good luck.
  • Anyone know the wiper blade part number for a '37 Terraplane?
  • Thanks Guys! I love this site, I always get an answer. If it would'nt for this site and the HET club, I would'nt be making much progress on my Jet. Thanks again. And I am sure there will be more questions.
