Does anyone have part numbers for front and rear brake drums? I would like to replace mine with new ones, if possable. I have a 52 hornet and would appreciate any help, also if they are available is there a place in the Buffalo, N.Y. area where they can be purchased?:)

I doubt you are going to have any luck with that although if someone knows if new ones can be bought that would be great. I probably could scrounge up a couple of used ones if you are interested but who knows if they are better than the ones you have.
  • Hudson drums are unique to Hudsons only. Wheels ,bearings and shoes all interchange and can be found, but not drums. Finding NOS drums might be possible but it's a long strech. Have your old drums resurfaced if possible or buy used ones that can still be resurfaced. You'll wait a LONG time for NOS drums.

Looks like we will all be converting to something else, somehow, someway, someday. Drums don't last forever no matter how good you take care of them.

The security checkpoint guys are gonna look at you funny when you try to bring a set of drums through in your carry-on baggage. Unless you want to throw em in with your clothes.

I believe one of our Aussie guys bought back an overdrive in his carry on luggage a few years ago.
