Anyone out there happen to have a Marvel Carb. Co "Model V" that would fit my 29 Essex? Where the two sections bolt togeather one of the ears is broken off on mine. Out of curiosity, how many years was that same carb used?

  • this stuff is not exactly easy to find especially if you want to get out and drive the car anytime soon. you can probably have it welded.

If you can't find your Marvel Carb, try a Stewart as used by Essex in '27 & '28.

I've been using a Stewart on the '29 engine in my '28 E Coupe for five years with no problems, altho I'm not running a Hotbox (no need in our warm climate!)
