commodore 8 dealer model

im so happy i could burst. my friend had a 49 c8 dealer model, (simmilar to the one for sale on ebay for $2000!), he gave it to me for $75 bucks! its light blue on the bottom, dark blue on the top. its complete except its missing the 2 rear tires that he is going to look for. i thought it was cool enough to share with the fourm. c ya -john

    Boy - I bet that feels like a "barn fresh" find!

    If you really feel like doing some net surfing I remember about a year ago I saw a wheel for a stepdown model on some obscure model builders website...I think I was searching the net on "Hudson Promo" or something similar.

    I actually found the link in an old forum post I had...the tire and wheel doesn't appear to be online anyway...I'd email the guy and see what he might have though...
    OBTW - I found this link where there is 1 wheel and tire for these models if someone has one with a missing wheel
