Sitting here looking thru one of the first WTN that I ever recieved when I first joined the HET Club and first got my 1929 Hudson. The wife and I went to the Portland Oregon 30th National meet in 1989 that was the 1909-1929 first 20 years of Hudson. This WTN has a good artical about the 1929 Hudsons that was written by Pete Booz & Pete Welzbacker with alot of pictures and good information for a new 29 Hudson owner like me to read and look at pictures and dream about driving mine someday. Also at the Portland meet they raffled off a 1954 restored Hudson Hornet Convertible. Does anyone know of the person that won this car and where it is now ? Also looking at the cars for sale in 1989 I should have bought all of them for sale back then and stored them..I would have been in the $$$$$$$$$ now. Heres one, Joe Bassett in Groton Ma. has a 1939H Big Boy PU body off restoration all new for $5000.00. And Mike Clark in San Diego Calif. has a 1929 custom body sedan that was in the Harrahs collection for $14.000.00 Just looking back for a minute and I know alot of you have stories that go WAYYYYYYY back..LOL. :) Take care, Ron

The '54 was bought from the winner by one of the restorers. I believe it was last sold at B-J or another high dollar auction 2 or 3 years ago.
