You won't believe it!

I have a '46 Pickup that I got several years back. Worked on the mechanicals of it in 1978 and took me some 25 years to talk the owner out of it.

Now here's the un-believable part. Tonite I get a call from the man who did the paint and body work way back then. He wanted to know when I was going to pick up the other truck! Seems that he has another complete truck that was a doner of some parts. He just happened to run into the former owner and was put in touch with me! Can this be true? I will follow up when I see it tomorrow. Just had to tell somebody.

Yea, my "prince of an uncle" left me his Hudson. Now I just give my account information to all of the parts dealers! :D (But I wouldn't have it any other way.)

  • I went to look at the truck on Wednesday. Not To bad for sitting in one spot for 25+ years.Completely stripped of all chrome and interior, But this was all stored inside the building. Will get a better look and photos on Saturday when I bring it home.

Let me know if you decide to part it out, I will need some things for my 47. Either way, I'd like to see the pics.
