Christy's Auto Salvage in Leavenworth KS is Closing: Any Hudsons?

The yard is located in Kansas - I got this info from another forum and thought if anyone is close-by that they might be able to save some Hudsons from the crusher....

    Seems more and more yards are closing these days. guess its just cheaper to crush what they have than try to sell. Sorry though when its a yard with lots of old cars in it.

    I gave Randy a call. He said that he had not seen any Hudsons, but would give me a call if he came across one.

    Fellow who owns a yard with lots of older cars remarked recently that he can get $200.00 a car crushed and gets tired of antique car people trying to get stuff for nothing or stealing it. In the last 30 odd years I have heard these same comments several times

    Great - I'm glad someone is close by enough to check it out.

    It's a shame but inevitable - as many of these yards are surrounded now by houses and cities the land is worth more the cars.

    Some of us like the steering on the right hand side, it's what we use all the time! Let me know if you find another one.
