Hi all. We are heading up to Orilla Ont. to pick up a '53 Hornet we bought from Gord Souter! We fly into Toronto on the 31st. Then we are going to drive it to Niagra Falls & then up thru Canada to Sault St. Marie. We will then head thru upper Mich. & into Wi. To Sun Prairie. We would like to visit other members along the way. Wish us luck!!Tom & Cindy

Welcome to the madhouse, Tom and Cindy! If you've already joined the H-E-T and have received your roster of members, pay particular attention to the asterisks next to the names of members in the states through which you'll drive. These are members of the "Tourist Emergency Help" network, and are willing to help out any stranded fellow Hudsonites in what ways they can (this often includes arranging for a tow, providing temporary storage space for a broken-down Hudson, offering mechanical help, etc.).

Congratulations on your purchase, this sounds like it will be a fun and exciting journey home.

Please take a digital camera and lots of pictures - I'd like to see a picture of the Hornet with Niagara in the background :)
  • Welcome to the "house of the unholies!" (for all you Zep fans out there) LOL

    Um, waiting for pics though....................:-)

Congratulations Tom and Cindy! Bring your HET roster along, just in case. I'd offer to help you out on the way, but I won't be much help to you, as I work between Madison and Sun Prairie, and you'll be home by then!

What? I didn't think those pictures of your back yard lake and county home looked drab at all.
  • Thanks Dave only draw back is it takes days to fill that lake from the garden hose...
  • You're welcome. You need a larger hose.
