To use a '36 engine you will have make up a pipe from the bottom of the radiator to the inlet of the water pump, as the pipes are on opposite sides for these years. Otherwise everything else should fit fine.0

1938 should be the same. If you can take your time looking there are some out there. you should find a used engine reasonable and not an arm and a leg for it .0

'37 onwards had a much bigger exhaust manifold, stood out further from the block, could be a clearance issue in the '34 chassis. '34, '35, '36 all had the same mainifolds, but the '36 had a flat head and water pump mounted on the block.

I have parts at least. I pulled a 6 out of a 37 terraplane because of .003 out of round crank. I have the complete engine and trans, but sometime back it threw #1 rod through the block. It has been welded up but did seep a little oil. I also have the electric hand setup. I put a 4.3 chev V6 with a lockup TH350 since I didn't want to spend 3 or $4000 on the beat up block. I am looking for a way to put front disc brakes on this car. Know of a way? Val0
