Maybe i will part out my 48 Commodore 8.

I believe Hudson switched transmissions in mid-1952. Previously Hudson made its own transmission, but after that time they purchased the transmission from Borg-Warner. Possibly someone knows the serial number of the cars before and after this change. Do you know the serial number for your 1952 Pacemaker?0

If your 52 is an early car with the single lever transmission, with an odd shaped top cover, It'll bolt right in assuming they are both either overdrive or non overdrive. The late 52 trans has 2 shift levers on the side and a rectangular top cover. It will also have them model number cast in the right side of the case- T-86xx0

Either tranny will bolt in if you take the bell housing with it.
However, if the 52 was a double lever, you'll have to change the shift column to match it.0 -
Thanks a lot. I'll have a look on it these days.
I think the pacemaker is a early 52, because in the middle of that year they changed the pacemaker into the wasp...
I will tell you my results
