Home at last...
Jim Guinn from Texas dropped off my '40 in Santa Fe tonight...none the worse for wear. This is a foe toe of it leaving Pomona, California...don't ask me how he pulls two trailers loaded with cars across country...he's on his way to Pueblo, Colorado to drop off a Plymouth Belevedere...

Sam...
Thanks for sharing the photo... last time I saw my friend Jim he stopped here to have a cup of Java and lunch on his way to or from somewhere... that was over a year ago... and we are neighbors... we both live in Texas.
As you have now met Jim Guinn, you know he is a super fellow and an avid Hudson supporter. Those two trailers are on the road most of the year, movin Hudson and other hobbiest Iron from place to place.
Y'all have a great day.:D0 -
Nice looking 40, I hope to have mine looking like that someday. Great automobiles the more I read about them the more I want to learn about them0

All that's needed Sam is to have an edorsement on your drivers licence for combination vehicles and one for doubles .0

Rick, the truck pictured is my GMC 5.3 V8, 4 wheel disk brake, trailer package equiped and rated at 11,500 lbs towing. Not the Colorado, which is rated at 4000 lbs. I've never pulled doubles with the Colorado, but the 5 cylinder engine does pull better than the v-6 which it replaced. 5 can = 6, just as we know 6 = 8.0
