31 Essex Removing Wheels?
Hi:
Can anyone give me a procedure for removing the wheels (31 Essex Super Six)? I'd like to pull off each of my wheels to inspect the brakes. The nature of the wheel doesn't accomodate a puller (which I am used to using on older cars). Should these wheels simply slide off the hub with a bit of pressure?
Thanks in advance.

Should they slide off...yes-will they? Probably not. Geoff Clark gave me a great tip for my Essex when I couldn't get one stubborn wheel off. Loosen the hub nut and drive (or pull) the car around for a few miles. After you hit a few rough spots, it will loosen the hub and you should be able to get the wheel off.
