Harcoequip, I saw the Hudson run last year in Gainsville Ga? and man was that a Croud pleaser,as all Hudsons are.
Have you ever Run the 1970 AMX 401 Eng ? My # 1 son Randy Bennett ownes and drives it in the early 10s 1/4/ mile. It would do better if the front wheels would not get so high at blast off time.
Hope to see you run later in the year down there.
Thanks Rudy0 -
Guys,
Sorry I havn't had much of a chance to remind everybody of this event on wednesday night.
Please be sure to look at the directions on page 3 of this topic for the
relevent information.
Also it looks like on saturday the 28th of July several of us who live south
are going to head out to Muncie for more drag racing during their normal
saturday program. Again this will be an informal event so if you want to
watch or race just show up.
I personally look foward to seeing many of you all again and meeting most
face to face for the first time.
If you need to contact me my email address it HETturbodude390@cs.com
just drop the HET.
thanks again and I look foward to seeing a lot of us there.

Thanks Rudy,
Thats actually Dads car, mine is a 47 work in progress. We hang out with Randy every time we run the same event, he is a great guy and speaks often of you and your Hudsons. We saw him earlier in the year and he had done some chassis work and his car wasn't lifting the front as bad as before but it still looks great when it makes a pass! We are presently gettting ready for the "Pinks All Out" show at Bristol dragway 7/21/2007 I hope we get picked! Also, Inside Drag Racing interveiwed us at the All Mopar Southern Nationals but the show doesn't air until november I think. Hope to see you at a race in the near future maybe I will have the47 there as well.

Thanks Jody, Randy and Rick both have the 1970 AMX s They got there start Bleaching down the tires on the 54 Jet 308 back in the 60 s 70 s.
They at least stayed with AMC and do well with the 401s
Met your dad at ATL.Dragway a few years back and we talked Hudson so much that he almost missed the starting-lineup that day.
We hope to see the 2-door Hudson later in year down there.

Hey guys, how about a role call to see who is bringing which Hudson to the drag race?
Its just around the corner and it would be nice for me to make a list just to make sure nobody gets left behind wednesday night or saturday in Auburn.
Please list your car by year and model and your board name like this:
50 Pacemaker coupe- PaceRacer50
This will also give us a list to send into the WTN to get the news out to other club members for future drag races if we can get together. Maybe be able to do this during a regional meet or the next national meet.
thanks,

Come on Dan. Load the '41 up and we'll change the gasket at Auburn. Russ, Steve and I will change it for you while you are managing the stand. I was looking for the two '41s to run.

Dany, I hear there's a great supplier of repro Hudson parts in someplace called Pinion Hills, California. Is that near you? They may have a spare head gasket...:D0
