the last thing i need right now is to spend money on stuff thats not my hudson. but some %^$^%$^464r$^$^ mongrels decided to break into my daily driver. chalk up one broken window, easy to tell it was junkies since all that was taken was a box of stuff you can take down to the cash convertors easily. bike rack, still there, jumper cables, still there, tools, still there. i got off lightly but f*ck i hate collingwood now

  • dont feel too bad. I goes on in every town, especiallly her in so cal, carry a ball bat SDBEST BILL ALBRIGHT
  • what a ****ty way to celebrate 200 posts. but at least with old cars they dont have to smash your windows out to take a look through.
  • You think that is bad. I got up to let the dog out last night and found two F**ks posing with my car on the street. One guy had put the beer cans on the roof the other was taking pictures of him. At 2am I came out of the yard with the dog barking they running me throwing their beer cans at the back of their heads. Should have let the dog get them. They were maybe 18 year old morons with no respect for other peoples property. Now that I saw this I have seen everything.....

I hate people that do that bleeping stuff

Last year my moms car - 94 Buick Century - was stolen and she had most of her bills, credit card statements and tax information in a box

why she left it in the car, I'll never know

but it was less than 12 hours after the car was reported stolen that hits were being made on her cards and new credit card applications in her name.

So I'd suggest if there is any chance they got some of your personal information from anything that was in the rig ~ you've got to keep an eye on your bank accounts and credit history for the next few weeks for any suspicious activity.

It's time to move the car into the garage or move yourself to the country.

One thing for sure, if you leave your car in a public roadway, the public will get to it. Years ago, my wife parked her car (77 Caprice with a 305) on the street, in front of our former house. My new car and our collector car were in the garage. I hated her car so much, I always hoped it would get stolen. Wasn't I surprised when someone did steal it. The thieves must have been really stupid because after the car sat and oil leaked past the worn valve seals, the car let off a huge cloud of smoke when started. Nevertheless, the car was found later that day, in ripe part of town, complete with worn out gangster white walls and no engine.

Now that I know you leave your car in street, I'm going to drive by and "borrow" some parts. :D I'll make sure to place my beverage on a coaster.
  • Nah, wasn't my Hudson that is in the garage. It was my new car, so no worries more of those to be had....

:) Ahhh, I can rest easy now. :) But don't you think that leaving the new Maybach in the street is attracting the wrong kind of attention?
  • Like I said it may have cost 215K but its just a new car I can get plenty more of those. The Hudson stays in the garage with the attack dogs patrolling.
