Best place to get parts?

Just wondering where everybody's favorite places to get parts are. Give a shout out to your favorite parts supplier.

Also, I was wondering where I should look to find a head gasket for a 308. I just pulled the head yesterday and need a new gasket. I was also wondering how to remove the exorbitant amount of carbon deposits from the inside of my engine while I have the head off. Also, any other suggestions of what to do while I've got my engine decapitated would be appreciated:)

    Dale Cooper carries gaskets. http://www.hudsonmotorcarco.com

You can also join the HET club for a great source of parts through the White Triangle New classifieds. I live in Centennial, Co. Send me a PM if you need a part right away to get you going. I have a couple spare parts sitting around that may help.

I got all my engine parts from Randy Maas. Was very fair on price and his knowledge of Hudson engines and willingness to share is priceless.

There's not necesarily one place to get ALL your Hudson parts but some suppliers listed in the White Triangle News have the bulk of what you need. Dale Cooper, and Dave Kostansek being very good contacts. Believe it or not you can still find parts for Hudsons at your local NAPA too. You can get brake shoes for your Hudson at Autozone but aside from that I wouldn't say that's a great source or parts.
  • Here's my "shout out" list.

    Randy Maas

    Kostansek/Cheny

    Dale Cooper

    Dany Spring

Doug Wildrick - if you don't use his clutch fluid, you should.

For used parts, Mr Hudzilla himself - Lance Walker.

Nothing but good things to say about the guys I've had dealings with. Either in parts or helpful information, quality in both areas.

I'm also going to have to give my local NAPA a "thumbs up". It can be a bit trying, but NAPA does have a pretty good number of parts for Hudsonites. Considering there hasn't been a new Hudson for 50 years.

Beware the brake shoes however, (NAPA-AutoZone-Advance-etc) DO NOT have the 2.250" wide front shoes. They list the 1.750" wide shoes for front and back of all models. Which will work, but you loose the extra front braking capacity of the wider shoes.

Also try Bill Albright. Has a large amount of body parts too!
