O.k. so I fooled you with the title, but this is Hudson related, just bear with me. Take a look at the first picture ( I think these are coming on as attachments).

For those of you wondering where I've been lately, I've certainly been out in the shop trying to complete the '32 ****. This is the one (or one of the many, let's say) that I've waited for all my life. It's currently 98% done, and I am finishing the final details.

Unfortunately, I've come to the difficult decision to sell it for more than one reason. Firstly, she turned out WAY better than initially planned and is almost (note the "almost"-- there's about 140 miles on the odometer right now) too nice to be driving amidst other traffic. Secondly, the decision to sell is purely financial (better reason than the first).

I've decided that I want to take this: (take a look at the 2nd picture) and turn it into this: (take a look at the third picture). Minus the bunny, of course!! Why have I told y'all about this? To pay you of course!! Anyone know of someone that would be interested in owning the hot rod and can send me a legitimate buyer, I will gladly pay a finder's fee. Or deduct the finder's fee for any of my fellow forum members that are interested in her.

I'm currently working on a rap sheet listing the attributes, etc. I thought I'd post something about it here first, before formally advertising, although we will begin that process in the next couple of weeks.

So, if any of you can help a fellow hudnut get another Hornet Convertible on the road and preserved for the future, not only will I be grateful, I might just send you a check for helping me out.

Anyone seriously interested, I can e-mail more pics, rap sheet, price, etc. . . . just let me know.

By the way, want to know how crazy about Hudsons we are? Vicki and I will be having our 2nd baby boy around Thanksgiving, affectionately named Hudson J. Chilton

Happy Hudsoning Everyone!!

Yes, same one. The only thing I've been doing with it recently was acquiring parts. I've recently located another body, though that is in considerably better shape. When the '32 sells, I'll look into retrieving it. I've just been so busy as of late trying to get the '32 completed, I haven't had the time to concentrate on the Hornet.

Yes, it is ambitious, I suppose. BUT, it looks much worse than it is. I have all the sheetmetal to complete it, along with a rebuilt engine that's ready to go and all of the chrome has been re-plated and most of the other brightwork is ready to go. And, I might be able to obtain another body that I discovered recently that is in much better shape.
