more ebay speed parts
I found this on ebay. Guy selling isn't realy sure what it fits other then a hudson 6. I was wondering if any of you all know if it would fit a 49 super six?

Hi--It looks like the one I had on a '56 308. It should fit any '48 to '56 6 cyl. (except Jet) Norm0

Yes it will fit, but having two 2BBL carbs on a stock 262 would not be a fun thing! Low manifold vacuum and major mixture problems. Years ago I drove a 7X 308 with one of those intakes. Along with Clifford Headers, it was a thrill! I saw a 232 Head on Ebay yesterday that fits the 51 and Up 232-262-308. It had also been milled. That would probably require racing fuel if used on a 308. Just because it's labled "Speed Equipment" doesn't always make it a good thing.. Having said that..I have a Hornet twin H setup on a stock 49 262. Driveability is OK but I doubt It helps my mileage.It sure looks neat!! .LOL.
