12 Volt Conversion: Stepdown

Does anyone know where resistors might be found for converting the clock winder and heater blower motor to 12 V? (1/2 ohm, 25 Watts, and 1 ohm ,50 Watts). Local NAPA and Car Quest dealers don't have a source for them.. Thanks, Walt

    JC Whitney or Radio Shack have the reducers. I have an electric clock in my car and have never converted it to 12 volt. It runs fine and, believe it or not, keeps perfect time.

    I have been running clock and fan on 12 volts on our 51 for 15 years with no problem. Clock keeps perfect time and fan blows twice as fast. :-)
