For those who were wondering what it would bring, our former '36 convertible went for a bid of $165,000 at RM's Meadow Brook auction over the weekend. With buyer's premium, actual price was $181,500. Egad!

Cool, that's just like Amazon! Purchases over $25 get free shipping. It is nice to know that you get the same thing on $180,000 cars too!

    Park,

I trust that this is a new record for the sale of a Hudson product at auction?? It was good to speak with you at the National.

  • Park...

Goes to show that keeping the baby warm in the cellar and making the occasional restoration action... will bring rewards!

Actually no pun intended... the sale price is a testament to the care you put into the restoration of the car.
  • I guess I should have bought that bloody rusty 1939 HUDSON 8 122 Country Club Convertible that was sitting under a Gum tree for many years for 1k.

    Better luck next time.
